Emily's Eats

This summer I will be eating and reviewing 10 different types of foods. One type each week, a different place each day. At the end of the week there will be a winning place, called "Emily's Eat of the Week."

These are the top ten types of foods to be included in my summer adventure:
  1. Frozen Yogurt
  2. Pizza
  3. Conveyer Belt Sushi (aka Sushi Go Round)
  4. Lasagna
  5. Chicken Fried Steak
  6. Cupcakes
  7. Fish and Chips
  8. Doughnuts
  9. Cheeseburgers
  10. Fruit Smoothies
I will be judging each restaurant on a scale of 1-5 (1 is worst, 5 is best) based on these factors:
  1. Decor of restaurant
  2. Friendliness of staff towards kids
  3. Service speed
  4. Taste of food
  5. Appearance of food
  6. Price
Look forward to pictures and stories, as this Emily eats away the Eastside.


  1. What a great idea. Can't wait for chicken fried steak week!!! We will have to see how it compares with the chicken fried steak in Houston!
